You are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours notice to your driving instructor if you wish to cancel a lesson. Less than 48 hours notice will incur a charge for your cancelled lesson.

On your first lesson, it is your responsibility to present your valid UK provisional driving license before the commencement of your lesson. Failure to do so allows the instructor to cancel the lessons you have booked and you will be charged.

Drive Genie are not responsible for any lesson or test cancellation due to any emergencies or mechanical breakdown.

PLEASE NOTE: Block bookings are non-refundable, and are minimum of 2 hr lessons. All refunds will only be provided if zero hrs are used up and 48 hrs notice provided to the instructor. All starter deals are one offer per student. EV and automatic bookings will follow the same policy starting 2026.

Drive Genie must enforce certain terms and conditions as part of the services that we offer. This is to assist and protect both the student and the instructor.

All students must ensure that they are not physically tired and are mentally prepared to drive during any lesson. They must neither be under the influence of any alcohol, medication or substance.

Please make sure that if you wear glasses that these are with you for your lesson.

All pupils must turn off their mobile phones prior to a lesson.

The instructor will advise when he/she believes you are ready to take your test. If you book the test without direct instruction the driving instructor has the right to refuse use of their vehicle. All associated costs will be the responsibility of the student.

It is the responsibility of the student to make sure that they take care of their personal property, the driving school accepts no liability of any loss of property in their vehicles.
